RELIEF EFFORTS

we diagnosed cases of Malaria, Dehydration, Malnutrition and Diarrhea in children. Other patients with Congestive Heart Failure were treated with Furosemide and Ace Inhibitors. We treated multiple fractures secondary to motorcycle accidents.

EDUCATION AND TRAINING

AMHE Post-Graduate Education for US training in Internal Medicine, Pediatrics Anesthesiology and Surgery has restarted after the fund raising activity of 2014. AMHENJ also provides scholarships to promising students interested in medicine. Your donation helps provide this training.

DIASASTER RELIEF

As you probably know, the hurricane landed mainly in the southern part of the country where it caused floods, damage to property and loss of lives. AMHE is in contact with several organizations in Haiti and in the US and regularly sends medical missions there in times of disaster.

MEDICAL MISSIONS

The AMHE Relief Mission went to the south Peninsula of Haiti, particularly the town of Jeremie, on Saturday February 25, 2017. The group included Dr. Paul Nacier, Dr. Eric Jerome, Dr. Yvane Drouillard, Nurse Marie Jean-Baptiste and Mr. Lionel Badio. Our missions provide primary care.
